Amit is the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Cybage. At the forefront of the company’s business growth, he supports, formulates, and implements clear short-term and long-term business strategies. He comes from a strong technical background that begun as a programmer, followed by a project lead role before he instated himself into sales and business development. His strong experience of an end-to-end life cycle of software delivery and client interaction enables him to play a key role in determining Cybage’s pricing versus value delivery equation in the light of the global economic factors and client expectations.

Amit mentors a strong team of business managers at the company’s global locations. He believes that Cybage’s strongest point is its technology capabilities and hence, his team is formed with members who truly believe in technology. In the face of changing market dynamics, he substantially invests himself and his resources in strengthening the engineering and technology backbone of Cybage’s business development efforts.

Besides leading panel discussions and seminars, Amit mentors aspiring managers from premier institutions in areas of strategic intuition, business planning, and networking skills. He has received several certificates of honor from international consulting bodies and B-schools for his initiatives in this area. He is also responsible for mentoring MBA students and is associated with top MBA institutions for business-related or strategy-related presentations. He received the ‘Young Achiever Award’ at the National Award in IT Excellence and the CMO Asia Awards 2012 held in Mumbai and Singapore, respectively. Amit was also honored as the ‘The Greatest Corporate Leader of India - IT 2013’ by IndiasGreatest.com at Mumbai.
